Our Story
Slither and Crawl Reptile Experience (SaCRE) is an exotic snake education and breeding facility located in Land O' Lakes, FL. Founded in 2014 by Jerry Puigdomenech as both an Educational Outreach Project and Breeder of various unique snake species, SaCRE takes pride in educating the community about these often misunderstood animals and their impact on local and world ecology while maintaining a healthy and vibrant collection. Education
In addition to breeding exotic snakes, SaCRE is committed to Public Awareness and Education about these magnificent animals. We offer Public viewing and Educational opportunities both at our facility (by appointment) or at your event venue. There is never a fee charged to visit our facility or for us to visit your event. We only ask that you consider making an invaluable monetary Donation on our behalf to one of the following outstanding organizations to help further Florida Wildlife Conservation. The organizations that have directly or indirectly provided guidance, support or ideas in order to make SaCRE a reality are the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Orianne Society, United States Association of Reptile Keepers, and Zoo Tampa. This speaks to our Dedication and Community Commitment.
SNAKES IN FOCUS
Outstanding High Quality Captive Bred Snakes
At this time, our primary breeding focus is based around genetically unique examples of Ball Pythons, Burmese Pythons, King Snakes, and both normal and Super Dwarf Reticulated Pythons. We are always in the process of carefully nurturing our adult snakes while simultaneously growing our small collection of juvenile snakes up to breeding size for use in very targeted, selective breeding projects. All of the animals in our collection were captive bred, born, raised and receive only the highest quality care and attention. The animals in our collection have their health monitored and cared for by a Veterinarian specializing in reptiles. Diet consists of frozen thawed rodents to both protect our animals and be humane to the feeder source. All Conditional Species of snakes are handled, housed, and maintained in accordance with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission requirements. We are very excited to be a part of the Reptile Community and look forward to ongoing expansion.  As time goes on and our collection of snakes reach breeding size, we will be making a huge selection of beautiful species and morph varieties available for purchase on our website.
